6. After you are done selecting your stories, click on Next.
7. Now, it’s time to edit your Instagram highlight cover. This is basically your thumbnail for the Instagram highlight. To do so, click on Edit Cover.
8. After choosing an image as your Highlight cover, you must now edit your Instagram Highlight title. Give it the name you want.
9. After doing all the steps above, click on Add in the top right corner of the screen to finish the entire process.

Adding A Story To An Existing Highlight

If you wish to add one of your Instagram stories to be a highlight, then follow these steps.

1. First, open the Instagram app.
2. Then, open your Instagram profile page by clicking your profile image on the top right corner of the screen.
3. Now, when you open your Instagram profile page, you may click on your profile picture again to see your currently uploaded stories.
4. If you wish to add one of your stories to a Highlight, then simply click on the Highlight icon (which appears as a heart-shaped icon) at the bottom of your stories.
5. After you have tapped on the Highlight icon above, select the Highlight you wish to add it to.
6. Now, you select which highlight you wish to add it to.

In addition to these two processes above, you can also click on Edit Highlight to add stories to your highlights. You can get this option by clicking on a highlight to open it, followed by clicking on the Options icon (…) to see the Edit Highlight option.

How To See Who Viewed Your Instagram Highlights?

There is an official way to see who has seen your Instagram Highlights without using an Instagram Highlight Viewer. Using this method, you can see who has seen your highlights, along with how many views your highlights have.

However, remember that you can only see the views your Highlights have received in the last 48 hours.

To learn how many views your Instagram Highlights have received (in the last 48 hours), follow these steps below:

1. First, open your Instagram app.
2. Then, click on your profile photo in the bottom right corner of the screen.
3. Now, you will see your Highlights above all your posts and reels. Click on any one of them.
4. When you open the Highlight, you will see the number of views and the people who have seen it on the bottom left corner of the screen.
5. If you click on that section where it shows miniature profile icons of the people who have seen it, it will open up a new window that shows the people who have seen your Highlight.
